So here it is. SVT bumper installed. Paint doesn't look horrible so I'll leave it for a bit. I went ahead and wet sanded and polished it out today. I'm going to re paint it in the next few weeks. Also went ahead and put my older suspension on. Its lower than the coils and they ride a bit better. Can't wait till the coils sell and I get real lows.

After all the problems with the SVT bumper this last week, I finally got it down. Went out between rainstorms and put it on today. The battery relocation box didn't work out with the SVT fog lights, so I have the battery back in the OEM location for now. I will be moving it to the trunk soon.

Next up on the list is paint the wheels, move battery to the trunk, repair and install my SVT center console including adding two 12v outlets, started working on my custom dash bezel again to hold an oil pressure gauge, install new stock shifter and cut it (not as short as I have now), install new OEM tails that look way better than mine.

Next was my other small addition...A SVT center console. The shifter surround had holes for all the EAP option's so I fiberglassed over them, bondo'd and painted it to match my other painted pieces. I'll be placing an order with Steve for the cup holder inserts soon.





Lastly suggestions for center car overlays. I was simply thinking of white with black ford emblems. Here's the wheel for an idea of what I need covered.

Looks damn good chris. If you could get an extra 1 to 1.5 inches of drop out of the front it would be near perfect. The SVT front looks sexy as hell with out side markers but wouldn't fly with the local law inforcement here. The white wheels look amazing too really awesome progress!

So I fixed my reverse rake problem tonight I installed KW V1 coilovers I got from TheNorm. The rear fender heights are 23.5" alomost excatly what they were before. The front is at 23 5/8" for now. The front has about another inch in the adjustment, I just need to roll and pull the front fenders so I don't destroy them.

haha nice. my cousin lives in cali and races a mitsubishi lancer ralliart. he goes to a lot of the hot import nights and two years back entered a tournament for some drift race that he went to and won a 2009 nissan gtr. the paint job was white but he changed it to black with purple lightning painted around the whole car. after that he put a buch of performance mods on it and had it putting out about 1,000 hp when he was done with it. he had to get it inspected and they failed him. he was so pissed. so instead of it being a car he could drive around town on the weekends he has it as a competition drag car now. god i love florida.

I finally got motivated again and got back to work. I cut and put in the fronts of my fender liners and put rubber undercoating on the rest of the inner fender. Here's some pics of the process.

I was reading back through this thread and decided how much I miss having the vortex battery box installed. So tonight I grew a pair and cut some stuff and made it fit. My bay is back to awesomness.

Next is to work on cleaning up the header. I don't know if I'll have the time and funds to wrap it before the Stanceworks show, so I was thinking about just painting it for now. Thoughts?

Wrap it, and now your going to have to get a fancy looking trans mount.

That stock one looks stock, but nothing else does, also paint the trans bracket black, so it's less noticeable.

And I guess your going to have to shave the holes where the battery used to be, right?

To go much further into shaving this bay I would need to buy a welder and learn how to use it

I still like to drive my car to much to take it down for that long.

So I'm registered for the Stanceworks show. Not sure If I'll get picked but here's a few things I need to get done before I go either way...

touch up wheels (missed a few spots when I painted them)
repaint and repair the rad support
lower the front more (god I hope it can turn still)
fix the wire in the way of the shifter (I can't get the shifter into R)
touch up the paint in the bay
polish the hell out of the paint
