Omar's build thread..... yes, you're seeing correct people
Surprised? Shocked ?!? Well settle down, and keep your pantses on, unless you're a gurl, then you can take em off, but not all the way though, i like em at the ankles lol But yeah so this is probably wayyy past due, the car's pretty much been a build progress ever since i got it. But now its coming down to where im getting things done that i WANT to get done. things im looking at getting done before the big meat:
~ Completing the Koni sport suspension install (rear)
~ SVT header conversion
~ what would have been FR stg. 2 cams install but those are now lost forever and im out $110
~ New headlights, my 4th set YAYY!!!
~ And if i didn't have a secret surprise well, that just wouldn't have been very cool but this is sorta in the works right now though, hopefully everything pans out well
There are more things that im looking to get done, mostly appearance. Currently on the hunt for a set of kaminari side skirts, and SVT bumpers, and i don't really see gettin a set of those side skirts any time soon, at least decently priced anyway. I'd seen some on fanatics around november and i was just kina thinking about the idea then and ended up losing out on the sale before i really decided i wanted to go that route. But in the end though the new look should be pretty killer, really looking forward to it FIST PUMP, one time

Do you still need some? I have some on my zx3 right now and plan on putting it back to stock (powertrain wise) here soon.
And nice build thread. Hope to see you at the MEAT!

Thanx. And i may still be looking for a set. But another thing that needs to get done before the big meat is the timing belt, although im thinking thats not what the problem is right now, but possibly a clogged cat. If i'll be able to get the help needed to get the belt done i may be able to spend the funds that would have been use to get the belt done at a shop and splurge on those cams.
And Well the header conversion and the suspension install WILL be finished before then, its the surprise im hoping will be done before the meat.... Guess i should go check my pm... hihihi

Re: Omar's build thread..... yes, you're seeing correct people
And yeah Rob the whole thing about the cams certainly does suck. the thing is too he "claimed" he wanted to work something out, but ever since he said that, he hasn't been back on fanatics since the 2nd > i pm'd one of the mods of the BST section to see if he could possibly track him down cause im sure he might be lurking around on another account or something, douche.

Thanx Jim that'll be cool. And the guys name on FF is focusonthis420, he has a couple negative feedbacks but it looked like in the end things worked out with those, but as far as this issue is concerned it doesn't look like he has any intentions on giving me a refund >: ( . If you click on his name there, you'll see that he hasn't been on since the 2nd.

Re: Omar's build thread..... yes, you're seeing correct people
Picked up and SVT center console from a guy in newport richey today. He drives a purple SVT focus, has a white hood on it. He's on FF and FJ, but i gave him one of the cards for FLF, maybe we'll see him here soon. Pretty cool guy, he know's Evan, sorta, he goes to the auto x events out there at the spc campus (where he knows Evan from of course). He originally wanted 20 for the console, gave it to me for 10. Told him about the daytona meat too, and he said he's free most of april so we may see him out there.

Re: Omar's build thread..... yes, you're seeing correct people
Well, its been a while since i've updated, should've posted here with the suspension install. Progress isn't going as quickly as planned, hit a bit of a snag, but slowly picking back up. Had some issues with steering and turns out i had a bad inner tie rod, how bad? When we went to change it just the other day, unbolted the end from the hub and it just flopped down, played with the rod a bit and it just basically just came out of the rack, literally just fell out without having to undo it. Needless to say i was like Changed it out, but it still feels a bit funky, so im kina putting mostly everything else to a halt until i figure this out.
Other things i've been working on in the meantime:
New lights, bought these from James, and cleaned em up, i'll get some better pics up of these on.
And then there's the header swap i've been wanting to get done for the longest time now. Bought some header wrap, finished product
It got a lil sloppy in the middle on a couple of the runners, didn't cut enough and had to cut some more and start where i left off, but all in all dont think it looks too bad though.
Still working on the body, got a lil bit more to pay James before i get the rest of the SVT stuff, paint will come very soon after thats for sure.

I've been slacking with the updates, but thanx Ted. And yeah i remember swapping out the suspension, but before that though i could've been on the slammed crew man cause i had almost zero clearance on that thing lol. But i've got some updates coming soon guys, and i dont plan to disappoint

Re: Omar's build thread..... yes, you're seeing correct people
And the much awaited and anticipated paint job is looking good for the near future..... very very near future. Gotten somewhat close in the past but i either saw something else i wanted to get (SVT header conversion), suspension, to name a few things, or had something else come up where i couldn't put the $$ towards it. Keeping my fingers crossed that things will go well and i'll finally have this done. Very excited to say the least, to see the finished product.
Oh, and also picked this little guy up yesterday

More than likely just the hood, looking at gettin matte black vinyl and wrappin it. Looks going to be SVT front, kaminari sides, and SVT rear with SAP diffuser.

Alright, i'll try and get the pics up tomorrow, but got the gasket in today and couldn't wait till tomorrow so went ahead and installed the TB after i got off from work. Everything appeared fine and i was hoping i wouldn't have the problems most would have after installing a larger TB, but rpm hangs after accel, and even after revving, hangs a bit, and its now idling just above 1k. Aside from those, response is good, intake sounds awesome, but still, kina feel like this may get a little frustrating. One thing's for sure tho, definitely going to have to get used to driving with it, cause its like, touch 4K RPM!!!
