kyles svt build to nowhere

i got my focus in 9/10 and i have had nothin but problems with but i still love it

what it replaced my first car 3.8sc swap 95 mustang 5sd



first pic of it bone stock

arp 3" studs and painted the wheels

first focus meat daytona

lowered it and prime the whole car for paint

got bored today and cleaned up the engine bay and painted the valve cover, intake, and stut bar

oh and i painted the wheels another color before on

ghey.

i want all the engine covers they were missing when i got it

When I was rebuliding the motor I cleaned it down and painted it but yes josh ill paintthe strip but im not putting crome on it lol

Get rid of the Hot air intake and I guarantee you will be happy with the result. Its to hot in florida for that intake.

What about a stock SVT airbox setup? I keep a stock SVT setup to switch out my SRI with in the summer months. IIRC back in the day the SVT airbox/snorkel out-dynoed several different SRI and cold air intakes.

no im happy with it was a aem cold air and i cut it onto a short ram cause of the hydro locking iusses

Ive had the AEM intake on my car in the summers. Once I switched it out for a stock airbox there was an instant power increase. The motor responded much better. This is why I suggested the switch. You will not have the throttle noise but I would rather have the power since any 4 cylinder with an open air box will sound like that.

I don't have a stock airbox, the car came with a CAI on it.

Plus the stock airbox is ugly as fuck

So when we doing a direct port on it

when the cars painted and it stops breaking which is like next month but i need a intake mani fold first so im in five weeks yourll be starting on the manifold

tried on some contour svt 16'S for the track and i kinda like them
doesnt look like it but the headers a inch and a half off the ground

all finshed looks great now just a new bumper and im all set
