So just when things starts to go ok, its only natural that something else goes wrong right? Been having an issue with oil leak, checked oil this morning and it looked to be pretty low, went and got a qt of lucas stop leak as it appeared to have helped the last time when i did my oil change. So put a qt of that, and a qt of oil, checked and now it appeared to be slightly over the full mark. So i start driving and the car starts stumblin, n im like aw man here we go. It stumbles, and noticed there seem to be some power loss, THEN i noticed the cloud of blue smoke out my exhaust...... So looks like piston rings are burnt. And just after i bought the supplies, finally, to get the car painted.. paint, reducer, clear etc etc, now this happens...... sigh

You drain some oil? ...could just be blow by and loss of spark from too much oil...

Lost the job where i was working at the time. Trust me i held on to it for as long as i could, but my reserves started getting low so i had to sell it... What a sad day that was

Oh btw, question on the cam gears. I'm assuming its safer to run them without adjusting, but if you'll notice. the left gear (exhaust) is advanced between 3-4 degrees. How much room do i have to fiddle with these on stock tune... (cams are comp stg2's)

Go ahead and set them back at zero. It'll be best to adjust them on a dyno as then you'll be able to tell if a certain setting will make more power or not.
