Time for a pic whoring picture update. I finally went out and did a decent photoshoot with my new camera. The only update to the car is the amber side markers. The lower euro grill goes to it's new owner tomorrow and I'll have my SVT front bumper!

Bad new is my shaved rad support has some cracks they're hair line at this point so not to bad. I did beat it up a little after install, so I'm going to give it a re-paint and call it flipper.

Headlights are being baked as I type. I need the help of FLF tho...

1. Anyone got any tips on how to remove the old sealant from the lights?

2. Color choice for the chrome, flat black, satin black, charcoal, other?

flat black, some guy had it that way at FF08 and it looked good.

I vote for satin black. I've never cracked open a set of headlights, so I can't help there.

Satin black, or some sort of light gray/silver depending if you plan to have your wheels be a light or dark color

And you just need to spend a LOT of time with a razorblade to get the gunk out, that's what I did at least. Keep the stuff warm and it comes out easier.

When you go to reseal them, go to walmart and buy RTV silicon. It needs to be RTV so it cures without the presence of oxygen. If you use regular stuff, it likely won't cure totally and as a result not be completely water tight. Don't buy the stuff from advance auto, evan zone, etx. Its like 3 bucks per tube at walmart and over 7 per tube at the parts stores

I baked mine and trying to get the glue out was a pain in the ass!! But all I used was a small flat head screw drive to scrap it out then used Silicone sealant from autozone to put them back together..I have no problems with condensation.

Need your guy's opinion one one other thing, are white front calipers to much? If so they're going black.

Do black, then once you get an SVT brake kit then do white calipers

Well got the o2 sensor replaced and no more CEL. Also got the headlight bezels painted flat black, got one headlight degunked and ready to reassemble, and picked up a set of SVT dash vents. Now the vent rings match the dash! Now I think for the show I have on the 30th I'm going to paint the radio and gauge bezels metallic to match that of a Kona radio bezel.

I got two shows coming up that I've been trying to get my car ready for. I've been working on putting together a set of headlights without chrome and eyelids and getting rid of the painted white shit inside my car.

And thats how they sit right now. I've been working on getting all the old sealant off the lenses and housings. I picked up the RTV sealant today and should be putting them together in the next day or two.

Next my dash redo. You can see I pulled out the white vent rings and replaced them with SVT ones. The darker SVT ring matches my lighter gray dash.

Next was redoing the dash bezels. I found a spray paint that is an almost prefect match to the S2 radio bezel color.

Installed my dash bezels tonight. I have to say I was a fucking dumb ass for ever painting those things white. This new color is simply beautiful and the glossy finish makes my pants wet.

I felt large pictures were in order.
