Make sure you remind me when the time gets closer!
Too bad you can't bring the ST, then we could do a photoshoot with two low Euro foci

I will look at the weather, plus the rear camber is already eatting away at the new tires and I have only driven less than 1000 miles on them.

Lots of RPMs out there on Focuses, but man I had a bitch of a time finding some REVs on Focuses.

My Focus, in its natural habitat....
....fucking piece of shit.
Even on jackstands it has less wheel gap than most

Now whats wrong with it?
That sedan is amazing. If you think about it a guy who isn't in the Focus scene builds a pimp ride.

I honestly like the way the SVT looks better with the current setup of the car. Flat ass and long nose + low = (on a Focus, at least)

Had to do some parking lot repairs yesterday, the heater outlet hose splitter thing cracked and was spitting coolant on my header $20 and 10 min under the hood later, it was good to go and has been running perfectly

Been there before with the '00, apparently very hot coolant is a great rust remover from the stock heatshield and bolts

Re: The build of SVT #3658
Small updates
A while back I thought I blew a bulb, so I bought new ones from The Retrofit Source. The new bulb ignited for a split second, so I thought I blew another one. So I aid fuck it and have been driving with just one headlight (which is more light output than half the cars on the road).
A week ago I started poking around to figure out what the problem was, swapped parts between the two headlights. Turns out my ballast was bad, bulb was still good.
Fast forward to today, I called The Retrofit Source again, talked to them some. I ordered a pair of 50W ballasts with AMP outputs, and a pair of AMP to D2S converter harnesses. So once I get them, I'm ditching the Hella setup (ballasts and ignitors) and putting in the TRS stuff (ballasts with integrated ignitors and the connections that plug straight onto the D2S bulbs).
Then the one good Hella ballast and the two good Hella igntors will be sold on the forums.
I think that's all for now

Ron Burgundy is gone....I am now the (not) proud owner of some 18" Velox Monoblocks with monster truck tires (225/40-18). The tires have some life left in them, so that's a plus. They need to be painted, so I'm probably going to do that today. Taking suggestions...

eh whatever, I didn't use the wheels anymore anyway.
What blows is the tires on these wheels are fucking gigantic so I can't even put them on my car to see if I like my car on 18s unless I raise my car 2 or more inches

I'm thinking I want to paint them a color that will aid in resale. Because I'm not spending $400+ on tires to test fit them.
They're 4x100 and 4x108 so I'm hoping a civic owner will buy them

Re: The build of SVT #3658
I am about to just say fuck this car. I thought I had gotten just about everything fixed, All I had left was to repair the IMRC box and replace the front o2 sensor.
On my way home from Miami tonight, it decided to chunk the front left bearing I put in it like 8 months ago. Not sure why the bearing went.
Fucking yay, now I get to spend another hundred bucks on a new hub and bearing and another 50 to have it pressed.
While I'm at it, I am probably going to give the car the ultimate middle finger and raise it. Hopefully that stops my drivers side axle bind issue that I have been just living with.
Of course this happened after I bought a pair of MACHs for it, and have been thinking all weekend about ordering some perforated leather and getting the door panel inserts switched from red to the leather to match the Recaros.

Good news is it is still somewhat driveable, it just shakes when I accelerate. If I accelerate gently it isn't too bad to drive. Probably won't hold up for long.

Re: The build of SVT #3658
You need to tell your car like this
"Look here bitch, your ass is getting expensive." "If you don't change your ways. I'm going to hookers, because at this point they're cheaper"

Re: The build of SVT #3658
I already told it to go fuck itself bc the camera is getting the money spent on it now.
And it responded by breaking and telling me to fuck myself and spend more money on it.
