Re: The build of SVT #3658
That exhaust, while awesome, is for an RS. It'll fit from the flex back (I think), but the front stuff won't 2.75" is an odd exhaust size, can;t say I've ever seen one that size for sale
And oh yeah

well if it'll bolt up at the flex back it should bolt up cause the flex flange is just like the us spec but i don't think it will work with out modifying somewhat, but im sure it can be done

Re: The build of SVT #3658
That miltex replaces everything from the turbo back on the RS, so I'm thinking it will all line up, exhaust hangar wise, but it'll be not so easy to get it to actually bolt to an SVT flexpipe

Theres a gold shell near me in perfect shape for $600. But it's a complete shell, well a rolling shell. None of the bits that the focus above has though

Re: The build of SVT #3658
well by shell i would think all exterior no interior or at least minimal, no engine, trans or exhaust.

so.....I went to check on my car yesterday at the place it was being worked on. Apparently they left the window down all night Saturday night, and it also rained all night Saturday night. Drivers side was full of water. Yaaaaaaaaaay

Re: The build of SVT #3658
It was only the drivers side window that was down, so the passenger seat and back seats are fine. I really don't know about the driver seat....it looked ok but with it being all leather I can't tell. I talked to the owner of the shop, and they're getting my whole interior cleaned, detailed, and treated so no mold grows.

Jim said he was going to do a 4x100 swap and said it wasn't that bad. Ask him if he had any numbers or is still doing it. I would love to swap to 4x100. We could have a hub swap day.

I've looked into a 5x100 conversion, soooo many more choices that way. I really want to PM Dom about building me a 5x100 Conversion as he did it awhile back for his SVT

^^That was a quick phase. I had the big tires in small wheels for my track tires. Care is looking sweet BTW.

i don't think they looked as bad in person as the do in the pic.... but i do prefer larger black wheels that are glossier

Re: The build of SVT #3658
Yeahhhh they looked better in person, but I was never really a fan of the flat/matte black color they were finished in. I had plans to redo them in high gloss, but DJ put $400 in my pocket and snowflakes on my car before I could get to it

Yes, that thing is nice! I've been considering removing my tint too. After 5 years of it being on there it shows it's age.

Hey guys nice rides.. I'm in Jacksonville and picking up my newly aquired 2002 SVT this weekend and it only has 28k miles... rare find!.. I'm excited. I haven't been in the tuner field in about 5yrs so I need to meet some locals.

Re: The build of SVT #3658
Look out for the MONSTER TRUCK!!!!!!!
SVT is looking pretty stock. But today was a "prove that you still <3 the SVT" kind of day ... I spent like 4 hours cleaning the crap out of it, inside and out. And that's on top of the ~7 hours I've spent cleaning the engine bay over the past couple days (and OMG was it DIRTY! no pics of that though)
The hatch hasn't been this clean in I don't know how long!!!!!

It's called the tire came off the left front, but I rotated them and put the fronts on the rear to achieve even wear
