DAYTONA HOTEL INFO STUFF - UPDATE 2/3/2011

We want to get things organized a bit more than last year with rooming. So any info you need will be put here. If you want to get a room and are looking for people to split it with post up and I will add people to your room that you approve. We would like to get as many rooms as possible on the top floor. The big rooms with kitchen and living room are there. If we can get room next to each other that would be a plus. So I'm gonna ask that everyone reserving a room please get in contact with me and wait until we are ready to book together. I have already called the boardwalk in for pricing and availability. Info is below. If we get enough people we can get all 6 rooms and have the top floor to ourselves. There is a total of 3 Oceanfront rooms and 3 normal rooms that adjoin to them. I think we can cram everyone into these rooms. So let the room bidding begin. I'll add more as needed.

$126.65 $109.00(w/discount) - Ocean front view rooms (kitchen and living room).
$118.15 $99.00(w/discount) - Adjoining room to Ocean front(this is not the same room).
$92.65- Normal room not by us.

Just to be clear:
- If you are wanting or able to put the room in your name post that.
- If you want to crash with someone post that.

Whatever happens we need to figure this out by mid february latest. I don't wanna lose the rooms. The hotel will call me back tomorrow with final pricing discount if we get all 6 rooms upstairs top floor. This will be easier for the White Trash party saturday too. So lets party.

Also, if you have a facebook, please post the link and I can add you to the guest list there. That will give everyone here a better idea of who is going.

im down to crash on the floor of someones room (or a bed). I could reserve a (1) room, but i'd have to have confirmed, non flake people sharing it for both fri and sat nights.

Is this the same hotel I stayed in last year? That was was pretty cool...

I'm up for splitting a room. I don't want it in my name though. I'll be in whoevers room, but I believe I have it worked out to stay in James's room. I'm up for any room though, but I also want it to be a cheap weekend. I figured out with James that it'll be like 32 bucks for the weekend in his room. So I'll be in his room unless it'll be cheaper in some other room!

^You can stay in my room like last time. Along with Josh2, Shaille & Jim? That would make 6 of us.

I can reserve one of the oceanfront rooms. I WANT the room like we had last time. I'm claiming it, lol.

I have the funds to reserve, just call me when we need to make reservations.

As long as we have the numbers to get the cost down, I'm game! I can't do another $100 hotel stay like last time, that was brutal lol.

^Just did some math. With all 6 rooms....

-20 people - $62.42+/- (taxes)

-30 people - $41.62+/- (taxes)

And that would be for the whole weekend, per person. And that's also if we get the 15% discount.

By whole weekend, do you mean including Sunday night too? I can't stay Sunday night, I have class at 8am mondays

i have to work that monday..... will be able to come straight from work friday night though. Count me in with the floor treatment Jeremy lol. If i drink enough that where i would be anyways. i'd fall off the couch or chair anyways and pass out. but ithink im going to pace myself cause i don't want to be on team nappin

Jims getting a room too. We can take a good 2 weeks to figure it all out. So far, me, jeremy, evan, jim and owen wasn't to get a room. One more and we get the while floor. We really need to just figure out who will share.

if it comes down to it, i could reserve the 6th room. but that might mean more per person and thatd suck for me....Im close to finding out on the Costa Rica trip (within a month or so) and ill be payin minimum flight to/from and up to the additional $2100 for the course. but itd be worth it

We rashly only need 4rooms to get the discount. Thats why I wanna wait a couple more weeks before anyone reserves a room.

I'll have Joel and his lady, Audra, and potentially a metric asston of my friends coming with me so my room should be pretty full with potential overflow into someone else's. We should have 4 full cars coming from teh 34205 ALONE.

I just booked an Oceanfront room! Kingsize bed for me!

How did it work out when you called? Easy or was she as retarded as when I called?

It was very easy... I told her I wanted to book a room for a couple nights, she asked me the dates, I said April 29th & 30th, she asked if I was with the group, I said yes FLF and she asked if i wanted the suite or the smaller room. Simple as that.

Another update yays. 1 hour after posting we have 3 rooms booked. All 3 Oceanfront rooms are booked. So the 3 side rooms are left. Looks like the top floor is OURS!

This is gonna be a partay like no other!
