****Daytona Beach 4 MEAT!****


The dates of the meet are April 29th - May 1st. The "offcial" meet is happening all day on Saturday April 30th (a day at the beach and dinner as a group), however there are a bunch of us staying all weekend. We would love to see you there all weekend though!!.


If you are staying all weekend, there will be partying Friday night AND there is an epic party that will happen Saturday night after dinner. You would be foolish to miss it



This is the official DAYTONA BEACH 4 MEET page. Please try to get everyone that wants to attend on here. This will also help get us more traffic. Now on to the fun stuff.





Now on to the info.



This is our 4th Daytona Beach Meet. If you don't know where or what Daytona is then you have a serious problem and you must attend. This is a manditory fun filled weekend. Fun is not only provided but very much encouraged. Smiles, hugs and kissing(as you may have seen from previous meet pics) will happen at a non stop rate. You will be overwhelmed and your butt will get tense with anticipation and glee. You're gonna play in the sand and swim in the deep blue sea. You're gonna stay up late and get up early out of pure excitement and for what you might ask? You're on Daytona Beach!



Things start off Friday with people getting there through out the day.Once most people are there we do dinner then hang out for the night. Saturday up and on the beach between 9-10am. Early, but we need to get spots together on the beach. So if you plan to drive up Saturday make sure you leave with enough time to get a spot. For lunch this year I'm thinking of maybe doing a beach buffet. I have a couple standard 4x4 tables that fold up that I could bring as I'm sure others do too. We could all by some different things and lay them out(chips, veggies etc...). After the beach it's showers(although last year the water got shut down so it was a swim in the pool) and getting ready for dinner and a night on the town. Sunday is lunch followed by farewells and hopefully pictures if the weather is ok.


Things to bring:
- Pillows (if your sharing a room then bring extras)
- Towels (Same as above)
- Beach chairs. There is never enough. Walmart sells them for $10.
- Beach/ shade tent. We had 3 last time. We could use a couple more.
- Swim Shorts. Please don't forget it.
- A+ game (get lots of sleep the week before, you won't get much there)
- Camera(we need more pictures this time) And don't forget your SD card. Owen
- Boogie board, floats, rafts or whatever.
- Sun glasses.
I will add more as it's suggested to me.

CHANGES: To make things more fun there will be a WHITE TRASH BASH on saturday. Whoever has the big room will be hosting. Yes this will be dress up. If you're named Jeremy and coming from Georgia then bring your good clothes. Wigs, mustaches, chops, cut off jeans, bad beer and mesh shirts will be mandatory. If your name is Rob and you're coming from Miami, start growing a mustache now or buy one. Lets make this fun people.


As if things couldn't get any better. I noticed today that I have a serious butload of trucker hats. You can buy these from me saturday. You might ask, why would I buy a hat?

DESIGN YOUR OWN TRASH HAT AT THE WHITE TRASH BASH
Well here is your answer, they are blank hats with mesh backs.
Colors: RED - BLUE - BLACK - WHITE - SAFETY ORANGE. $6 each
We will be having a DESIGN YOUR OWN TRASH HAT AT THE WHITE TRASH BASH. All the money will be put in a pot. We will break everyone up in 2 groups and each group will vote on the others. The winner of each group will go head to head and be voted on by everyone. understand yet? The winner will get a cash prize. Not only do you get to hang out with some of the best people but you could win money too. Bring the fun.

wtf how do you spend $200 on gas???? When I came to see you I don't think I even spent 100 round trip, and daytona is less than a quarter tank away from Jax...unless your car gets crappy gas milage?

Really thinkin' about skipping warshing my hair for this one, it is spring break for crying out loud. And to fly down via Southwest is only $112 Roundtrip or a 13 Hour Drive from MD. Holso and Justin, I think we need a northern caravan.

You must have a late ass spring break. Ours is February 28th-March 6th.

Yeah Hopkins was like second or third week of March when I was there, a bit late but the whuter will be warmer

***** Just noticed the date, Car should be done, but I dont think I can do the 24 hour drive and be back in time to not take any real vactation time.


I have to save vacation time for FR and H20, but If I fly down I can prob make that work.

Just looked at tickets.... Around $500 to get there on the 22nd round noon and leave the morning of the 25th....

So Looks like Im IN!!!!!!

Why don't you talk to Ken? He might be driving down. Then you could ride down with him. Or look to see if it's cheaper to fly into Jax and drive down with Joshy. So many options.

yeah, see if there are any cheaper airports to fly into/out of. Im in Miami, bunch of people in Tampa, and Josh in Jax...there are some people in Orlando.

Jon check airtran.com. I checked there today, they are cheaper than Southwest for me, yeah I have a layover in the ATL but its not too bad

Flying into Jax is actually the cheapest, plus I may have plans for a certain Focus Rental Car

If you land in ATL, you can drive my '00 zx3, lol.

How do you figure $500 for a plane ticket? My ticket for me to go down there over spring break is only $155. It's round trip from Detroit to Tampa.
