but seriously, what did you want me to do? I've never touched an 08 grille before. I woulda said hit it with some rubbing alcohol on a rag or some lacquer thinner on a rag, but for all I know that would eat away at the chrome on the grille

personally, I think you should go to a dealership and buy an 09 coupe black grille

yeah 10 bucks worth of paint and supplies or 200 bucks at the dealer...i am looking around on ebay for a black grille but im not going to buy from the dealer...

i just repainted it at lunch today..and it looks about 85% perfect just needs about 2 more coats when i get home after work...

now i just need to to find a black ford logo.

if you can't find a black logo there's someone on FF of FJ that is a sponsor and he makes overlays decals to fit over the existing emblem.

IDK bout the headlights. I like the coupe ones better. Not a big fan. But its ur car. Deff better than stock!

i plan to nightshade the the lower half of the tail lights but leave the red for now

that should look good doing the lower half. as for the tails im with Jon but at the same time Jon is right again its your car, and it better then the chrome shit.

it must be nice to not have to jack your car up to get under the bumper to get the bottom headlight bolt out

so i just decide to nightshade the whole taillights i did half of them to get rid of them chrome and then i was like screw it im doing the whole thing.



and then i reilized that i needed new rubber so i bought theses off of tirerack going to the hobby shop to put them on with a buddy this weekend

What was improper about the size I had? I was running 215-45-17....

well it dont matter i have a slow leek right now in my front diver side and i have new tires and valve steam so it looks liek it may be the rims =(...i need to pull it off and put it underwater to check

you hit potholes a lot? they were trouble free for me for the 50k or so that I rocked them

my wife nailed a curb in them so its either that our i ripped the bead when i put on the tire...but now they have been great going to repaint them and turn them into my auto-x wheels(once i start after the first of the year when i am "moar low" )

so its offical after a dunk in the tire tank i have a cracked rim... =( i bought a pair of 5 spoke svt's today from a local guy jon (focusin) on FF. i plan yo paint them black this week and have them on the car by the weekend.
