My Car and Its Progress

Hey everyone, I recently joined here and thought I would post some pics of my Focus.

I guess we'll start from when I first got it. This is the closest to stock pic I have on my computer.

I started doing appearance stuff, eyelids, clear corners, CFM antenna, aftermarket fogs, and a horrible HD gutter guard grill lol.




Eventually realized the HD grill would be better in black. Also new in this pic is the euro plate.


Finally came to my senses and took the gutter guard off and just smoked the turn signals on the grill. Looking much cleaner here. Also got FR emblem overlays for the front and rear.


Did a few other things like HIDs, stock fog lights, color matched mirror caps, trunk trim, and door handles, painted brake drums black, painted coolant cover black, lightly smoked tails, mudflaps, and got an OEM battery cover. Just cleaning things up and going for a clean look. I restored my headlights with the 3M kit and bought brand new clear fog housings. Removed the eyelids and put blue lamin-x on the headlights and clear on the fogs. The odometer, license plate, dome, and trunk got white LED bulbs. Im also rocking a black a silver theme on the inside. Wrapped the door cards in black suede, got an SVT HVAC, silver vents, silver rings around gauges, and RS E-brake handle.

That pretty much brings it up to where I have it now. Want to move on to bigger things this summer now that the cars looking pretty good. Hopefully by the end of summer I will have coilovers, new wheels and tires.

Haha I used your how to. Yours looked pretty good, but mine just looked dumb lol.

Did a couple things this weekend. Removed the Focus Sport sticker on the rear glass.

Put wood laminate in my trunk, and a new sticker on the windshield.

your trunk floor gives me wood

I am planning to do that to my tails once I get a new set that isn't destroyed then put back together with silicon

Had my fogs for almost a year now and finally got them to work.

LOL, idk just wasn't getting power from the switch I think.

So I wired them to the grill lights. Now they come on when I put the switch to parking lights or headlights.

Awesome. Also just picked up an OEM rear bumper for cheap.

You know anything about shaving bumpers? lol

Jeremy is a body guy, so I would venture to say yes.

Just make sure to get the right filler. One made for bumpers and that you can sand.

Picked up a new center console at the pull a part yesterday since mine was messed up.

Painted the new one satin black and added a little something.
