Pretty much a repost...

So after the panels are welded on, I gotta get them rolled to fit at least 9s or 10s with camber. Ill use my 7s and 8s for tucking fun.. Very Happy

Thinking about getting the SC 17x9/10s. Either reverse stagger or reg stagger. Whee'll see.

I have some spension stuff to buy still, but this area is not quite my expertise. Figure I need all the nice parts will adjustable this and that with pillo balls.

I haapen to be one of the few that received DGR suspenson on time and with custom blue parts with white springs. So I'll be riding on that.

So other than that, my car should be here by Saturday or the beginning of next week.

Well guys, the car and rest of my RS parts finally made it to my house Friday with help from mother and my long time friend in Illinois. Eventually the build will be started!

She needs a good cleaning though and a spider search...

Dead battery...good thing I know simple Spanish..lol

.....Thanks for the quick chat. Lots to do, at least it seems like it. pale As for that list: Modify at will; how it fits your and the body shop's schedule.

Modify Gauge Cluster to hold 5 gauges
Fabricate Special Shifter Base for an RS feel (talk more)

Burn Fuel or Drain It

Remove Battery
Pull Interior Out
Dewire & Remove Old Gauges Except Wideband
Remove Rear Bumper
Pull RS Front End Off
Remove Upper/Lower Crashbar
Drain Coolant
Remove Radiators

Pull Engine & Getrag, Shifter Base & Cables
Reset Timing
Replace Cam Gears
Replace Tensionor Pulley
Replace Fuel Injectors
Install Oil Cooler Adaptor
Clean Up A/C Compressor
Install ATX on Engine (Check Fluids!)

Remove Fuel Tank
Install Top-Speed Modified Fuel Tank & Lines
Modify Fuel Lines & Install FPR.

Fabricate Plates For RS Crash Bar (So it can be bolted on the chasse)
Modify Crashbar To Fit The Intecrooler
Fabricate Front DGR Camber Plate Mounts On Wheel Arches (If possible or make hole larger!)
Fabricate Roll Cage (dare I brake my neck again..haha)

Put Front End On (no radiators, lights & grill)

Remove Door Jam Hooks
Remove Rear QP Glass, Triangles & Lights
Remove Rear QPs
Add RS QPs
Fabricate Sheet Metal To Fill Gap In Wheel Arch)
Add RS Rear Crash Bars
Add RS Rear Bumper
Roll RS QPs & Front Fenders Wider To Fit 9/10s comfortably.
Drill Holes On Hatch For '99 Viking Wing

Body & Paint (CD Silver Everything)
Custom Paint Cam Cover (like my 180sx)
Install QP Glass, Triangles & Lights

Remove Front End

Install Battery Relocation
Install Electrical Distribution Block (small Shark should work)
Install wiring for ATX, ECU, and New Gauges
Install ATX Shifter Base & Cable
Install Front Seats Only, No Panels. (Will do the rest at home)

Install Engine/ATX & Hook Up Related Gauges
Install Turbo Kit & Hook Up Related Gauges
Hook Up Fuel Lines

Install Radiators & Crash Bars
Install Oil Cooler
Fill Up With Coolant & Oil
First Start (check everything)

Put Front End On
Initial Safe Driving Tune, until I get hand controls installed & driving practice

Couple Of Tunes & Go RACE!

So, after looking over that list again, what do you think are some reasonable goals that we should aim to accomplish on the 18th? Should we even attempt to grind down your crash bar, or should we just pull it off?

Josh and I may be able to convince more people to ride over with us after the All Florida G2G on the 17th, so we should have many hands to help destroy your Focus piece by piece. Laughing

I assuming you want to leave the engine stuffs intact until you get the car to Jim's, so maybe we could work on pulling the interior?

There's quite a few things we can do, but only if time persists.

Pulling the interior, including the carpet, except for the driver seat

We can go ahead and pull the rear bumper

We'll mod the front crash bar anyways to save room on the truck. But if Jim doesn't take it for a spin to burn fuel, we could just cut it off.

We could remove the lights too, but need to know if Jim is gonna joy ride it Laughing

Modify existing wiring to use Euro front/rear fog lights, & indicators.

Drill holes for the Viking Wing & rust proof the holes.

Possibly do the battery relocation.

We can't cut it off.

It needs to be cut off by Jim when he is ready to fabricate the parts to bolt the RS one on. And the engine and trans need to be out. When you cut off the crash bar, the frame rails will try to spread open, which could get ugly....especially with the engine in there
