Holy s*** Sad

Cerified Collision os Cassat Ave does GREAT work from what I've seen. They have painted various parts for me (hatch strip, RS wing, spoiler on my old Mustang), repaired my Mom's Expeditoon door (looked perfect), and they put a new bumper on my sister's Focus and painted it (matched perfectly).

The guy there my dad and I know is Tim, he owns/runs the place. The number is 904-783-1140 and the address is 1030 Cassat Ave Jax FL 32205 Thumb Up

Thanks Josh.

I also got a recommendation for Viverette's on Cassat.

It seems that a lot of the places with stellar online reviews are over in that neck of the woods as well...

My main concern is that I get 100% OEM parts (I better be getting a new bumper cover - this one is not repairable in my opinion) and that there is no lasting evidence of the repair.

Well cassat ave is a dealership-filled street, so anyone who deos good work will stay alive and prosper. Vivertettes is a geico ins repair shop, so while I'm sure the work will be good they probably try to do the jobs as cheaply as possible (ie reman'd parts) but I really have no clue as I've never used them. Tim, the guy who owns certified collision is super cool, ask him what they'd use.

Also, get in touch with duncan about a the mazda dealership he went to when his cx7 got rear ended. I wanrt to say it was tom bush mazda, but I'm not positive. He spoke VERY highly of them, and they went way out of their way to make him happy. Shoot him a PM on focaljet and ask him to be sure though

Well the recommendation I got for Viverette's was specifically in reference to the fact that they (the autobody) insisted on the customer's behalf that new OEM parts be used for this person's particular repair...

At any rate, I think I'd probably take your recommendation over this person's recommendation anyway. Laughing

I just PMed Duncan over on [FJ].

Thanks again Josh.

I would've murdered her in her own dreams. Just sayin'.

Seeing though the bitch was driving a Toyota, the gas pedal must've got stuck, even though it's the older generation, and plowed her side to the side of your rear bumper.

I don't see how f***ing idiots who are not mentally capable for driving managed to pass a drivers test. If I was the Department of Driving whatever, s*** would be so rigourous only people who would know how to drive, will be able to drive. All the f***in' poptart retards of generation can hop the bus.

Well, I have the car back now. Took it to Tom Bush Collision Center, and aside from a little-bit-less-than-perfect masking job on the black portion of the bumper (the line has a couple of "irregularities" where it curves), they did an awesome job. I had their PDR guy remove a couple of small dents while they had it as well.

Believe it or not, Adrienne was rear-ended 6 days after me, so we're taking her Fit to Tom Bush too.

If insurance is covering it I would take it to a certified Mazda body shop. I will put money down that any other place will screw it up and try to blend it in. If I were you I'd get a free paint job out of it for the whole car.

Tom Bush owns Mazda, Mini, and BMW dealerships.

They were overall a pleasure to deal with, and really advocated for me when the insurance company tried to get by with merely "repairing" and repainting my old bumper.

I got a brand new one, and the paint looks great (and is matched perfectly, as far as I've been able to tell so far).
