Well I'm not sure if I'm selling it anymore it's in the shop getting fixed and getting new fidanza cam gears put on and timed for more torqe

Yup sure is, I didn't get a reasonable offer before I changed my mind, now my babys getting fixed, and I'm looking for 6 speed svt tranny so I can convrt it from the 5 speedit has in it

To be honest ... the 5spd will give you much less of a headache down the line.

They actually make multiple clutches for it, heh.

the 6 speed is not good for drag racing, its better for auto-x, and the 6th gear revs are higher than the 5 speed. save yourself the headache and don't do it. there are rebuild kits for the mtx75, youd have to find or buy another tranny with the getrag.

From what I have heard, the two are pretty similar except the SVT has an "extra" gear between 2nd and 3rd. Pointless if you ask me. In a race, that's less time wasted shifting gears.

Thanks or the imput, really only considered swapping out for the 6 sp cause I've upgraded like everything excpt engine and tranny, anybody on here build boxes? Ima need a custom box too I'm wanting 4- 12's but the rear strut stablizer bar is in the way

Putting in a SVT trans would not be an "upgrade". The only difference between the two is one gear. Upgrading would be either a torsen/quaife limited slip differntial, and maybe a smaller final gear. Maybe even throw in a double blocker 3rd gear synchro, and get those gears nitrided. When you do all that, call me and I'll buy it off of ya.

Do you still have the back seats in your car?

I have rear passengers side seat still, the rear drivers seat is a custom made nitrous box, all those options seem too aggrivating for me I'm not trying to go too technical with it, just always thought that a 6 speed was better than a 5 ha

Definitely don't do an SVT tranny swap. You have to swap a metric s*** ton of things, including but not limited to te tranny, axles, knuckles (and that means brakes too), the linkage, and I'm pretty sure a new tranny mount.

Big headache if you ask me. Plus you lose all availability of plenty choices for aftermarket clutches, you can't change the final drive ratio, the limited slip diffs are retarded expensive (and IIRc they're discontinuing on of them), ....

If the 6 speed didn't come in my car, I wouldn't go through the trouble of getting it. Although it is cool to tell people your Focus has a 6 speed Getrag hehe

do the lsd, you'll be happier. and they cost about the same as an svt tranny, but instead of 1 wheel sqeal, its 2 wheel squeal!

Holmes- I like the color scheme I think the silver on black is sweet, I got that white on black on my Hyundai with 5% windows and it looks real nice

We are all pretty much silver black here, except Josh has the baller wheels.

Um, I don't think so, except we have meet ups at Sonic on Beach Blvd every other Saturday or so.. And then the statewide get togethers as well..

Im opposite I'm black with silver, ( not my choice previous owners) eventualy after I do some more engine work and get a set of lambo door hinges(set of two only 299$) than I plan on getting a two tone paint job, top half silver bottom half black, so the black on the bottom goes aginst my silverrims and the silver on top will go against the black windows(5%)

Well my zx3 is at a mechanics getting a new fuel pump put on and a new window regulator cause it turns out it didn't slip off track the cable that the motor controls broke, and getting the fidanza cam gears put on, but I won't have insurance until I get a job but when I do I'm interested in gettinn together with y'all
