New FL meet, new place

Okay...missed the one in Daytona Beach...time to meet FLFocus bunch...I am between jobs...but would perfer sunday as day of meet....we pick either Miami or Tampa Bay: beach, park, go-carts, food, instal at someones house? then home to daily grind....Lets get something set up, long or short notice! I am in Cape Coral and there is nothing here but I can drive to either location w/GPS.

True, well I was going to make a trip up to Jacksonville to install some coilovers on my car at Josh's house sometime at the end of this month. We had planned on a monday but could maybe switch it to sunday if you wanted to make the drive up there. Other than that I always work weekends so I'm not sure if I'll have time to do more car meet stuff before FR12.

Damn....let have others chime in too...we will make this short and sweet...but will involve 2-3 hr drive for some. 10-15 cars would be perfect. If we have spread out groups we can rotate cities so it is fair to everyone.

I'll be in Miami multiple times in the next couple months, hopefully we can round up a good number of people

There is the I Love Driving Slow show happening the second Saturday of June in Miami. I'm planning to go to that, hopefully we can get a strong showing

Good start but that is as far as FR12...hopefull more people chimes in today.

The FL people tend to do last minute meets. Nobody can ever agree on a date/time, and people have last minute things sprung at them a lot of times.


If you were to say "hey, let's meet up this day at this place at this time" there's a much better chance of a meat happening. Otherwise the meet will just get planned to death

Tell us a date and location and we'll do what we can to be there

I organized meets in Seattle and Vancouver, Canada but I have never been to Tampa, Miami or Orlando....people from there need to chime in and let us know if there is another car meet, go-cart place, beach [meeh] or nice park to chill and BBQ.

I do want to eat at Bubba Gumps and there are couple in FL. Orlando might be good central area so noone is driving more than 3 hrs except me.

This was one of WA/OR/Canada meets in Vancouver BC!

I'm always down for a meet if it's out of town I need to set alittle bit of notice so I can set aside money for it but if we do something in Orlando I'm down!!!!

There's a pretty good indoor gocart place in Orlando that I've been to!

my house in tampa is always an open door. i work every other weekend so just need advanced notice.......and no bacherlorette parties

myself and a few others are in Miami. I'm, unfortunately, tied up atleast until early July....

Last main thing for me to install is coils, wheels, and camber/toe goodies, which will be happening in Jacksonville at the end of the month.

I doubt that monday will be available for me. We can meet on Sunday and if possible Josh can make quick appereance.

Well Josh has all my coilover bits in his garage and I don't think it would be kosher for a bunch of us to show up at his house on Sunday to install when he will most likely not be there.

I didnt know instal was happening at his house.

So meet?? Yes, no maybe so?!?!

I'm driving to Jacksonville on Monday the 30th to install my coils, you're welcome to tag along if you want.

MIAMI. Driving to jacksonville or Orlando is pretty tough for me, especially on a Sunday :/

Next weekend would be good for me. I've been putterin around installin these cams, would be more inclined if there were some experience hands to guide me
