Holy shit, neglected thread!

Thanks for all the multilingual welcomes guys!

I sell craft beer for Budweiser. I am the bastard stepchild, but I dig it.

I just got back from a visit to one of the breweries I sell for... Victory Brewing Company, up in Downingtown, PA.

They wined us... they dined us... and I went to bed before the 69, but i heard it was epic!

Anyways, I want to buy some rims for my 2012, but they all look like doodoo!

whaddayathinkaboutdisshit?

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Option 5

Option 6

Option 7 (personal fave, despite the lame photochop)

Well?

I like 2,4, and 7.

But I would try looking on forums and stuff for used wheels. See if you can find something better than the Tire Rack specials.

Also 19"s work well on the new '12s.

Look for wheels off of a Jaguar. A lot of older-ish ones were the same bolt pattern as the 2012 Focus (5x108) Thumb Up

Fellow beer nerd! Awesome.

Never had a Loaded Golden Monkey. What did you load it with? I mixed it with Woodchuck Cider once... we called it a Golden Woody!

And I looked into Jag wheels... They're either way too expensive for used ones or just plain ugly.

BTW, you're in Fleming Island... I'm originally from Fernandina.

The selection of 19" rims is so limited... lots of 17's (too small), some 18's and a few 20's (too big).

Where should I look? (Fuck eBay)

What is your budget for wheels? Check out www.PC-Autosport.com , it's bustonit's website (he's a member on here and Focaljet). He sells Team Dynamics wheels, and you can order wheels in any size and offset you want, and they're a great price for the high quality wheels you get. If I were you, I would go for some 18x8 Pro Race 1.2 wheels in the "High Power Silver" color 👍

OR, if you want to go big baller, go for the Pro Race 1.3 in 19x8.5 Pirate

LOL, yeah... the beer alone is 10% abv or more (don't remember).
When I was at the brewery, we were all sitting around trading Golden Monkey stories... "What had happened was..."

As for budget, I'm a cheap-ass. I'm not in a rush, gotta check out all my options. I really like the 5-spoke 18's that come on the Titanium. Ford is proud of 'em, tho, they want like $500 each for those bastards! Maybe I can find some used ones.

I'm digging those Jade R and Le Mans wheels from Team Dynamics tho...

Check your local craigslist, just search the bolt pattern 5x108. Check the focaljet for sale forums, and maybe the for sale forums on vwvortex.

Edit: I too love the 5 spokes that come on the Titaniums, I think they look perfect with the new body style.

So, some chick in Orlando wants to sell these wheels for $475 with tires

I was thinkin' 'bout it cuz I'm a cheap-ass, but she doesn't have the lugnut covers for the centers, tho.

Anybody recognize these wheels? Maybe some old-school konigs? I wanna see if I can buy new covers before I drop some cashes...

Those bolt holes kinda scare me too...

A friend had a set of those...they're not very nice wheels. They were ebay specials, I doubt you'll be able to find centercaps

the bolt patterns are 4x108 and 5x114.3 ... I guess so they can be used on 4 and 5 lug mustangs (and the Focus just so happened to fit also)

IMO, don't buy them.

Thanks, GlassMaker!

SVT3658, I was hesitant to buy them at first, cuz I thought they'd be a bitch to clean too... but seeing them in person, I don't think it will be that bad. I can squeeze a cheap toothbrush in between those spokes if needed.

Mounting them this weekend!

I plan on running 225/40/18 rubbers, cuz I have a good spare Sumitomo HTRZIII in that size leftover from my civic.

Any suggestions on tires? I need good fuel economy, low road noise, reasonably comfortable ride and a decent price.

I'm thinking Kumho ECSTA 4X...

I hate the flat black trim on the 2012 lower bumpers and side skirts and I hate the shiny lunchbox peeking out from under the rear bumper like a fat girl’s thong. So I decided to paint it all, trim silver and lunchbox black. It came out pretty nice! Doesn’t match perfectly, but I couldn’t find exact matched paint and it is good enough for me. Check it out:
