Ok, well.... this is my 2002 met gray SE i bought two years ago in oct. I didn't really have a lot planned for it when I bought it but after I began to really look the car over I decided to upgrade a few things. It been a ever so slow evolution and I still have lots in store. Here is a short time line up to the point I'm at right now.

The day I bought her.

The first thing I had to change was the headlight housings, the sliver just made the front of the car look too girly. Plus I'm not really huge into chrome. So I ordered a set of black housings and 8000k H4s.

Due to some really old tires that came on the car my next thing to do was look for some wheels and tires. After weeks of searching I found these for sale for cheap. As mentioned above I'm not a hug fan of chrome but I couldn't pass up the amazing deal, and I could learn to deal with the TLC required to keep chrome looking good.

1. Remove valve cover.

2. Replace valve cover gasket.

Do what Josh (Dracconix) said on the valve cover.

And but time you buy decent shocks, your already half way to coil overs.

ok guys im not trying to be ignorant or start an argument and most of u know im new to focus but what is so wrong about using springs and not coil overs...... i understand how much better a coil over setup is in performance but u guys talk like it is taboo to just use lowering springs and i have used them on mustangs for years and loved them and am seriously considering buying the eibach sportline pro kit that just dropped for the new focus

Nothing is wrong with them, but the adjustability of coilovers is great. On a Focus, a GOOD spring and adjustable shock (H&R Race Spring and Koni Yellows) will be just barely less expensive than a pretty decent coilover setup ... and with the coilovers you have infinite height adjustablilty.

Foci look fantastic 3.5" or more lower than stock ,and no spring can get anywhere near that

the new focus must sit lower because the bottom of the front bumper is only 3.5 inches from the ground......... now i have the factory sport package and i believe that is slightly lower than the base ride..........

Wrinkle black would be badass. I've been pondering the idea of painting it and can't come up with what I want to do. I'm not a huge fan of everything all bright and painted under the hood. Black would be subtle, I like it!

To mount those fogs, get your self a OEM lower grill for fogs, then cut the ends off that the housings mount in. A quick trip to the junk yard should get you a grill.

I got these decals (sedan) through ebay UK last year finally got them on last weekend, but I hated how they both faced left so the passenger side was facing the rear of the car.

Thanks for the compliments it means a lot coming from you guys.

Although there is another member who wants them. I'll probably never sell them I would like to get a few other sets though. Definitely some 17s. I know they are chrome but they don't make them any more and I have not seen another set period. Everyone on the net knows my car from them. I've had people say "I knew I saw a liquid grey with ASAs on the net but I couldn't find it any where later when I tried to find pics of it". I love the neck breakers when I drive around town some guy had to pick his own tongue off the parking lot at wal-mart the other day, he was in mid sentence and just stopped.

LOL I love when that happens. Every time I go to a carwash I get compliments and stares.

Also, your grille mod looks tits! If you have plans for an SVT lip or even a Mach1 lip it will look even better!

Good day today. I replaced my PCV valve, got a breather filter for the valve cover and repaired the bottom corner of the bumper then installed the SVT lip.

Well looks like I'm getting a SVT rear for free. So I hope to do a SVT rear build in the next couple months. It seems the more I'm around the net the easier the SVT stuff just falls in my lap. lol

I'm picking this up soon. (minus the diffuser)

Just wanted to make sure... But, do you know that a hatchback SVT bumper won't fit on a sedan without major modification right?

Ok to put this up to date.

I changed the crank position sensor.

burned my arm in the process cause I found it easier to get to the top bolt by reaching my arm down behind the block which was a little hot but it had to get done.

Next on my list is a full tune up and fuel filter. I got the filter already, I still shopping around for the other stuff.

Because I got bashed so bad when I did my last tune up due to the use of cheap Bosch plugs and auto zone parts I'm going to do it right this time. I'm ordering the Massive Ignition package: 8mm wires, and MSD coil and Motorcraft plugs, plugs are separate from the package.
